Editorial policy
How content is made
Our drafts are produced with AI assistance and researched against official sources — then reviewed, corrected, and approved by a human editor before anything is published. Nothing goes live without human sign-off. Every dog-policy fact must carry a recorded source; drafts that can't source a claim don't ship it.
Corrections
When we learn a published fact is wrong or out of date, we fix the page and update its verification date. Listings that can't be re-verified are removed rather than left to rot.
Money never buys coverage
Venues cannot pay to be listed, ranked, or described favorably. Ads are served by third-party networks and clearly separated from editorial content. Affiliate links (marked and disclosed) never influence whether a venue appears or what we say about its dog policy. If a venue with an affiliate program has a bad dog policy, we say so.
What we don't do
- No pay-for-placement, ever.
- No copying policies from other directories.
- No AI-generated facts without a recorded source.
- No stock-photo pretending: photos are owner-supplied and licensed.
