Divine Barrel Brewing

Divine Barrel answers the dog question on its own FAQ page, and the answer is about the taproom itself: “Absolutely! We welcome all well-mannered and cool dogs into the taproom. We simply ask that they remain leashed and civilized.” Inside, in writing, from the brewery. That’s rarer in Charlotte than the number of dog-friendly brewery roundups suggests.

The same answer adds one more line. “Well behaved pups may also have a treat waiting for them at the bar… just ask!” Water is a different matter. The site doesn’t mention bowls one way or the other, and no size or breed limit appears anywhere on it. Leashed and civilized is the entire published rule.

An outdoor area exists; the brewery’s accessibility answer names it. But the dog answer names the taproom specifically, so indoor access is the part that’s actually documented.

The address is 3701 North Davidson, Suite 203, up past 36th Street at the north end of NoDa. Parking comes with its own published warning. The brewery lists a lot outside the taproom, gravel lots across the street, and street parking on Anderson Street, then adds a line in capitals: “Please DO NOT park in the gravel lot behind our Taproom, or you will get towed.”

No kitchen here. The FAQ is blunt about it: “We do not sell food at DBB,” with food trucks and pop-ups rotating through the parking lot instead. Outside food is fine. “We just ask that you kindly clean up after yourself.” Guests under 21 are allowed in, and the brewery describes itself as family-friendly.

Hours posted on the homepage run 4 to 10 Monday through Wednesday, noon to 10 Thursday through Saturday, and noon to 8 Sunday. The FAQ page still carries an older, shorter set of hours that no longer matches.

Birdsong Brewing’s taproom sits a little over two miles down the same street, in Optimist Park.
