Dogs stay in the guest rooms here. Marriott publishes the terms on the property’s own page: up to two pets per room, fifty pounds maximum per pet, and a non-refundable pet fee of $100 charged per stay rather than per night.
That is the entire published policy. Nothing about leashes, nothing about water bowls, no breed list, no designated relief area on the grounds. Since no leash rule is published, Mecklenburg County’s ordinance is what governs the lot and the lawn: Sec. 3-71 requires physical restraint anywhere off your own property. The room pages mention “pet-friendly amenities” without saying what they are.
One conflict is worth recording. Third-party booking sites list a $20 per night charge stacked on top of the $100. Marriott’s own page shows the $100 per stay and nothing else. The front desk line is (704) 552-7333.
The address is 6023 Park South Drive, about half a mile west of SouthPark Mall and off the mall’s retail blocks. Charlotte Douglas is 7.5 miles out by the hotel’s own reckoning. On-site self-parking is paid.
Inside, the Bistro runs breakfast and Starbucks coffee in the morning, then American plates and cocktails at the bar in the evening. There’s an outdoor pool. The fitness center is open around the clock.
For walking, the nearest sizable green space is Freedom Park, roughly three miles north up Park Road, where the Little Sugar Creek Greenway carries leashed dogs on a six-foot-or-shorter leash under county greenway rules. Closer in, the surroundings are office-park streets and parking. Nothing on the hotel’s own grounds is described as a dog area in anything Marriott publishes.
