Brixx sits at 1801 Scott Avenue in Dilworth, at the East Boulevard corner, and the patio runs along the Scott Ave side of the building. Covered, per diners who have sat on it.
Start with what isn’t there. Brixx publishes no dog policy. The Dilworth location page lists the address, the hours, the general manager, and five menu PDFs, and the words dog and pet appear on none of it. Same for the rest of the company site.
So this listing rests on visitor reports, and there are two of them tied to this address. A HappyCow reviewer in March 2022 called the patio dog friendly in passing. A Tripadvisor reviewer in October 2016 counted a couple of well-behaved dogs out there among the families. Both describe the patio. Neither describes anything else, which is why the rest of this page is blank: no leash rule, no water bowls, no size cutoff, because Brixx hasn’t published any of it. Mecklenburg County’s restraint ordinance, Sec. 3-71, applies regardless.
One caution about the name. Brixx runs several Charlotte stores — Dilworth, Foxcroft, Blakeney, Uptown, Birkdale up in Huntersville — and the directory listings blur them badly. The line that circulates about staff bringing a fresh bowl of water attaches to other addresses, not this one. It isn’t in either report from Scott Avenue.
Hours as the location page posts them: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. The kitchen runs wood fired pizzas, fire roasted wings in seven rubs and sauces, pastas, and a short dessert list. Vegan cheese exists but isn’t printed on the menu.
Freedom Park is about half a mile south, and the Little Sugar Creek Greenway crosses East Boulevard a few blocks east of the restaurant.
