300 East publishes no dog policy. Not on its own website, and not on either of its social pages. Everything below about dogs comes from visitor reports.

Those reports agree on one point. Dogs at the outdoor tables, not inside. BringFido’s entry says dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables, and two reviewers there describe patio visits with a dog, one of them in November 2024. A Charlotte roundup from September 2025 calls the patio pet-friendly. None of it is confirmed by the restaurant.

So the specifics stay blank here. No leash rule is published, which leaves Mecklenburg County’s ordinance as the operative one: physical restraint anywhere off your own property. Nothing is published about water bowls either way. Two of those BringFido reviewers mention homemade dog treats on the menu, and the menu the restaurant publishes on its own site lists none.

What the restaurant does say about the patio runs one line: “our patio seating is not reservable and weather-permitting.” Reservations go through Resy and cover the dining room. Outside is first-come, and it closes in bad weather.

The address is the name. 300 East Boulevard, in Dilworth, in a building that has held this restaurant since 1986. Food Network filmed a Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives segment here, “Indulgent Dishes,” which the restaurant links from its own homepage.

Hours as posted: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 to 10 Friday, 10 to 10 Saturday, 10 to 9 Sunday. Weekend brunch runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday, off a separate menu that includes a breakfast pizza and a crab cake benedict.

Little Sugar Creek Greenway crosses East Boulevard about half a mile east of the restaurant. Freedom Park sits roughly a mile and a half further out the same road.
